How can SEAT Center’s YouthBuild
program help me Secure the bag?

YouthBuild is a program designed to help young people ages 18-24 without a high school diploma obtain their GED/high school equivalency, and receive job training and certifications to help them secure the bag. As a YouthBuild student you’ll receive FREE bus passes to get to and from class, FREE lunch, FREE uniforms, and be placed in a job and/or internship. We pretty much give you everything you’ll need to start living your best life!

Am I Eligible to Apply?

  • MUST BE A RESIDENT OF SCHENECTADY

  • MUST BE 18-24 YEARS OLD

  • MUST MEET INCOME GUIDELINES

  • MUST NOT HAVE GRADUATED HIGH SCHOOL*

How Can I Apply?

  • SIGN-UP HERE 

  • Attend an Information Session

  • Bring in all required paperwork*
    (NYS ID, your social security card and birth certificate)
